The Good Story Project

I got to know Prerna Shah through WP, and have read some lovely posts in her blog, The Banyan Tree and Other Stories. Apart from bonding over cats, she’s fun, funny, and has a way of relating events from her life that makes you feel you’re right in the room with a good friend.

In Dublin’s fair city/ Lived a journalist witty/ And that was/ The start of/ Some jolly good times…

Recently, Prerna told me about this project she was working on with her friend Swati Subhedar – The Good Story Project. Something we can all do with in these weird times. Begun in July 2020, it has as yet only a few reads, but they are interesting and inspiring ones. It will be great to watch this project develop. I look forward eagerly to reading more.

Thanks so much, Prerna and Swati, for featuring my story in this collection. I’m honoured!

  1. Thank you for introducing me to Prerna…she seems to be “my kind of writer”, if that makes sense, and the Good Story Project is a very worthwhile initiative. I’ve signed up to follow both blogs, and will be interested to see where they take me.
