The day dawns with these gorgeous clouds. I remember an old rhyme that goes: Red in the morning, shepherd’s warning. And hope it holds good for us. Shepherds in England may dislike rain, but no one in their senses in the semi-arid tropics does. I remember, too, at a very young age, wondering why Little Johnny wanted the rain to go away so he could play. Collateral damage of colonisation!
The hibiscus is pleased to see the sun rising, though.
And the large honge tree is beautiful with its scented flowers and murmuring bees and dappled shade.
The water in Thally lake will hopefully hold out until the monsoon. And the amazing painted storks!
